Introduction
What Tyrex AI is, how an AI coworker differs from a chatbot, and the four steps from job title to working coworker.
Tyrex AI gives you AI coworkers that keep working after you log off. You hire them by job title, and each one gets a job description, its own computer, and your tools.
What is Tyrex AI?
Tyrex AI is a platform for always-on AI coworkers. A chatbot waits for you to type. A Tyrex coworker has a job, so it keeps doing that job on a schedule and tells you when something needs you.
- A job title. You hire from 436 occupations in ISCO-08, the International Labour Organization's job classification. Search by the title you would use, like bookkeeper or recruiter, or browse by category.
- A job description. Tyrex writes it from the occupation's standard duties and adds starter skills for the role. You can edit both.
- Its own computer. Each coworker gets a browser and a desktop to work in.
- Your tools. Studio for images, video, and 3D, App Builder for apps, Workflows for automation, and Connectors to your services over MCP. You can use all of these yourself too.
- Your files, kept private. Documents you upload become a knowledge base only that coworker can read. They are never used to train a shared model.
A Manager AI coordinates the team and hands out work by division. Routines let coworkers run on a schedule and message you first. Sensitive actions, such as sending an email, making a payment, or deleting files, wait for your approval. And World is the 3D office where you can watch them work.
No prompt engineering. No training. No code.
From job title to working coworker
Hiring happens in one wizard, shown in the app as KENAL → KUMPUL → BENTUK → READY (KNOW → GATHER → SHAPE → READY):
- KNOW: pick a job title, then review the job description and starter skills Tyrex sets up for that role. Give the coworker a name and pick its model.
- GATHER: upload the files the job needs. They become a searchable private knowledge base for that coworker.
- SHAPE: review the coworker before it starts: role, job description, skills, and the data it can search.
- READY: start talking to it, give it routines, and put it to work.
The whole flow is free. The free plan includes three coworkers.
How it's different from ChatGPT or Claude
| General chatbots | Tyrex AI | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | One assistant for everyone | Coworkers hired by job title, each with a job description |
| When it works | When you type | On routines, and it messages you first |
| Where it works | Inside the chat window | Its own computer, plus Studio, App Builder, Workflows, and Connectors |
| Your files | Read when you attach them | A private knowledge base per coworker |
| Risky actions | You decide in the moment | Approvals you set per action: ask, always allow, or never |
| Seeing the work | A chat history | World, where you see who is working and who is waiting on you |
What you can hire for
- A customer service coworker that answers from your SOPs and FAQ files, in your tone.
- A bookkeeper that reconciles payments every morning and asks before it sends reminders.
- A content writer that drafts posts and makes the visuals in Studio.
- A developer that builds a web app or a PWA in App Builder.
- An analyst that turns spreadsheets into charts and plain summaries.
- A teacher's assistant that turns a syllabus into practice questions.
Tour of the app
The moment you're signed in, everything lives under one sidebar on the left (desktop) or behind a hamburger drawer (mobile). Most of the app shares that sidebar; three surfaces — Studio, the Persona Hub, and World — take over the whole screen with their own navigation, and each gives you a one-click way back.
| Nav item | What it is |
|---|---|
| New chat | Start a conversation — pick a persona and a model, switch per conversation. Text-only: it runs on units, never credits |
| Personas | The Persona Hub: your roster of personal AIs. Pick one from the list and talk to it right there — each AI has its own conversation thread. The panel on the right manages it: overview, knowledge, routines (jobs the AI runs on its own — on a schedule, or when a webhook or a Telegram message hits them), and settings |
| Artifacts | Everything your AI produced: generated files, documents, code, diagrams |
| Workflows | Automations you build and control step by step |
| Library | Your AI Library — data sources, tools, and skills your AIs draw on |
| Studio | Create images, videos, and 3D models — direct rig control, async jobs, paid in credits. Chat can deep-link you here with a prompt pre-filled |
| Customize | Tune how Tyrex looks and behaves for you |
| Marketplace | Buy and sell skills, plugins, datasets, tools, and models |
| World | The 3D office where your AIs work — watch them at their desks, assign the board, walk in first-person, and chat with any of them where they stand. Open on every plan; free for now |
| Settings (user menu) | Account, security, billing, privacy, memory, skills, plugins, API access, and connectors |
Hiring a coworker (job title → data → ready, in one wizard) starts from the Personas hub ("New persona") or the "Create your AI" button on the chat welcome screen. In the app, a coworker is called a persona. Usage and upgrades open from the usage meter and Settings → Billing. Most actions are also reachable inline from the wizard, so you don't have to know the app map to start.
A note on honesty
Tyrex AI makes a clear distinction between setup and training. Steps KNOW, GATHER, and SHAPE set up a ready-made model with a role, a job description, and your data. That is setup, and it's free. Fine-tuning that truly rewrites the model is a separate service, clearly labeled, and never happens silently.
